Instructor Socadinho began capoeira with Mestre Gatuno in Dundee in 2002 and was baptised by Mestre Toni under the supervision of Mestre Gato in Edinburgh the same year. Since then he has trained with Mestre Pauloa Ciera in Holland and returned to Scotland in 2004, rejoining Senzala Scotland. He continued his training with Mestre Gatuno, Professor Ze-Galinha and later with Mestre Gato in Edinburgh. In 2006 he founded Senzala Dundee and in 2007 Senzala St. Andrews.
He visited Brazil in 2008 and was fortunate train attend the Senzala Academy in Rio de Janeiro training under supervision of late Mestre Peixinho and Mestre Toni. Through travel and attending workshops he is developing relationships with other capoeiristas in Europe.

Instructor Socadinho is a lecturer of Physical Education and Sports Coaching, he is a GTC registered PE teacher and has a long experience in teaching and performing dance and breakdance. The understanding of didactical and methodical structures gives his classes an energetic and fun atmosphere.

Now he is living and teaching in SHEFFIELD, continuing to share the positive experiences he gained through training and developing in Capoeira.
